Graduating players of the Queen's Golden Gaels women's basketball team were honoured following their final home game of the regular season, on February 2, 2008.
Each player was awarded a framed and plaqued action photo of themselves, as well as a one-of-a-kind original wood sculpture from Pine Spirit Studio. Ray has been a devoted fan of the Golden Gaels since moving to the area in 1999, as well as being Gaels Head Coach Wilson's father-in-law. Each of the graduating players was given the opportunity to look through a portfolio of Ray's work and choose their favourite, which was then presented to them during the ceremony.
This is the fifth year that Ray has generously donated his talents, and he hopes to continue the new tradition for many years to come.
